Leading Organization in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

This award recognizes companies that have contributed significantly in advancing and promoting diversity, equity and inclusion within their organization. ​

Rules

  • ​Nominated companies must have an office in Massachusetts. 
  • The principle member must be a member of MAA in good standing.  
  • An organization which has won a Company of the Year Award within the past five years is not eligible to enter in the same category.​
  • Please note, three finalists will be chosen, and the winner will be announced during the award ceremony.

What the Judges are Looking for

  • Demonstrates Clear DEI Statement/Policy and Strategic Implementation
  • Demonstrates Clear DEI Corporate Commitment Goals (leadership training, mentoring programs, access to resources)
  • Demonstrates Clear DEI Workforce Diversity Goals (representation across org., recruitment & retention for diverse demographics, ERGs, workforce training programs)
  • Demonstrates Clear DEI Internal & Local Community Goals (programs within property community, vendor/supplier diversity, collaboration with diverse local organizations)
