Professional Achievement Awards

The Professional Achievement Awards recognize individuals who have gone above and beyond within their career and have made significant contributions to the multi-family housing industry.

Rules
  • Apartment Maintenance Technician of the Year  ​
  • Apartment Maintenance Supervisor of the Year  
  • Rising Star of the Year
  • Leasing Professional of the Year
  • Apartment Manager of the Year
  • Assistant Apartment Manager of the Year (New in 2023)
  • Independent Rental Owner of the Year
  • Portfolio Manager or Supervisor of the Year​
  • Professional Achievement Awards nominees must: 
  • Have a minimum of three years of multi-family experience EXCEPT Rising Star Nominees.        (Rising Star Nominees should have a minimum of two years of multifamily experience, and a maximum of 5 years of multifamily experience. Any position in multifamily qualifies for Rising Star.)  
  • Work in Massachusetts 
  • Work for a MAA member company that is in good standing 
  • ​​Previous Professional Achievement Award winners are not eligible for entry in the same category in which they won prior.  
  • Nominees may only be submitted in one category each cycle.  ​
